As our club grows we have new opportunities arise.

Cove Marion WFC are looking for an enthusiastic CoachΒ forΒ our Reserve girls team in Season 2022.

We are a young club that has seen outstanding growth in recent years and we are pleased to be able to field two senior teams (one in the state league competition) and we will now be fielding a Reserve team.

As a club we have a lot of young players who are looking to grow and develop and this will be the case for this team as well.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to teach and guide players of different levels, and who also has the ability to work with other coaches and volunteers at the club.Β

For more information please contactΒ

SPONSORSHIP : It's an important
part of community based clubs.

Not only does it promote local businesses, but those who employ local families and grow local economies.

And for clubs like the Cove, it helps us fund equipment, training and opportunities to continue to skill up our coaches and players.

So we'd like again like to say THANK YOU to our Sponsors for 2021. πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

We are excited about 2022, the new ground and planning for our clubs 40th anniversary in 2023.

That's why they've started these new 'Come n Try' nights for U7s, U9s, U11s and U13s

6pm to 7pm every fortnight at Club Marion 😊

A NEW COVE : FROM THE GROUND UP

About 6months ago we attended a briefing held by and acknowledging those who have helped transform this dream into a reality.

David Speirs MP said by the end of the year they anticipated the BMX and mountain bike side of Majors Road to be well under way, along with our new ground.

Well, the pictures speak for themselves.

Absolutely fabulous for this club! But please let’s not forget there has been lots of people getting this dream off the ground! Which may not be involved wi tbh the club anymore …… Including Leo De Pretis Andy Fry and paul Davy, these guys started the vision and discussions with council and local government many many years ago! When such success happens everyone should be be recognised! πŸ‘

Went past the other day to see how it is getting along, it's looking really good, coming along nicely, well done to all involved πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I couldn’t agree more.

Looking great, I drive past there often. Do you know if the junior teams will be playing their home games there and not in the park anymore?

MINIROOS & JUNIORS KIT FITTING DAY

Sunday November 14 from 9.30am
Please read the following information thoroughly. πŸ™

Our kit fitting day will be held in the morning on Sunday 14th November 2021 at the Main Cove Complex, Oval Road. It will be open from 9.30am to 3.30pm and you should arrive ideally in the following time slots;

Boys;
U6s to U10s – Between 9.30am and 11am

U11s to U13s – Between 11am and 12.30pm

U14s to U17s – Between 12.30pm and 1.30pm

Girls;
U9s to U13s – Between 1.30pm and 2.30pm

U15s to U17s – Between 2.30pm to 3.30pm

If you cannot make your time slot above, please still come on Sunday as it will be the only kit fitting day. The reasons for the time slots is so we don’t have big queues and also JS Sports will have the appropriate sizes and kit types out at those times for those ages. It will therefore be much quicker if you can come within the allocated time slot.

When you arrive, please Covid check in.

Please then make your way to our registration desk to tick off your name and either check your shirt number, or pick a shirt number.

Then proceed to the kit fitting desks to check your size.

We have hundreds of kids to get through, obviously its important getting the correct size but please be as quick as possible on the day, we will try our best to move people through fast.

Make a note of your sizes on the day, as you will need these to order your kit online the following week.

Remember, you are sizing for a kit to last the whole of 2022, we always recommend one size bigger for growing children.

JS Sports kit fitting staff will help and guide you on the day. More details of how to order your kit online the following week will either be given out on kit fitting day or emailed.
