1. Introduction
Welcome to The Cove FC Official Merchandise and Payments Portal (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using this online shop and payment facility (“the Shop”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to both merchandise purchases and player registration fees or payments made to The Cove FC.
Please read them carefully before completing a purchase or registration.
2. Products and Services
2.1 Product Availability
All products listed on the Shop are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue, or modify products and services without notice.
2.2 Service Definition
The Cove FC provides both physical goods (e.g., club uniforms and merchandise) and community sporting services, including training, games, and club membership.
2.3 Customisation
Customised items may not be refundable except in the case of manufacturing faults.
3. Orders and Player Registrations
When you place an order or complete a player registration, you will receive a confirmation email.
This email confirms that we have received your submission or order.
You may cancel a merchandise order within 48 hours before it is processed.
However, player registrations are governed by our Refund Policy (see Section 6).
4. Pricing and Payments
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
We accept payments via Credit Card, Debit Card, and Zip Pay, processed securely through trusted third-party gateways.
Using Zip Pay:
When selecting Zip Pay, you agree to Zip’s own terms and conditions.
Zip Pay transactions are processed through Zip’s secure platform; The Cove FC does not collect or store your financial details.
A 1.5% credit surcharge applies to all card payments.
5. Shipping and Delivery (Shipping Policy)
We aim to process and dispatch orders within 7–14 business days.
Delivery times vary based on supplier stock, and customers will be notified if delays occur.
Orders are shipped via standard Australia Post or courier with tracking provided.
Local members may arrange collection at club events or training.
For digital or non-physical services (e.g., registrations or event fees), no shipping applies.
6. Returns and Refunds (Refund Policy)
6.1 Merchandise Purchases
We accept returns for faulty or incorrect items under Australian Consumer Law.
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Items must be in new, unused condition and in original packaging.
Customised products are not eligible for return unless faulty.
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method, including Zip Pay where applicable, and may take up to 10 business days to appear.
6.2 Player Registration Fees
Registration fees cover participation, training, and club administration costs that begin upon registration.
As such, refunds are generally not available once a player has been registered and the season has commenced.
Refunds before the start of the season may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:
Medical reasons (e.g., injury before first round)
Relocation out of the area
Other exceptional cases approved by the club committee
All refund requests must:
Be submitted in writing to the club committee, and
Will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Any approved refund may be subject to an administration fee to cover fixed costs already incurred.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect personal information to process orders, registrations, and improve services.
All payments, including those made via Zip Pay, are processed securely using encryption.
We do not store customer financial information.
By using the Shop or registering with the Club, you consent to data collection as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including images, logos, text, and product designs — is owned by The Cove FC or its licensors.
No content may be copied or reused without prior permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cove FC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including loss of profit or data.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon publication.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
